The purchase of this facility was very attractive for three primary reasons – it’s the right size, it’s in a great location and it is good financial stewardship. In our initial planning for a permanent facility it was determined that a facility of 25,000 square feet was appropriate for our growth and vision. The Trinity property fits very closely to this targeted square footage.
With the facility right off of Interstate 35W it is easily accessible and it has great visibility situated on the corner of County Road 5 and County Road 46. We also believe purchasing this building reflects good stewardship. We estimate that buying land in Lakeville and building a facility of this size would cost $1 to $1.5 million more than the $3.2 million we paid for this property.
