• The traditional family is God’s building block for society and therefore must be nurtured and protected
• Children are, and therefore should be recognized as a blessing from the Lord
• Children don’t automatically inherit a place in God’s kingdom based on their parents faith, and therefore must make a faith choice for themselves
• It is Dad and Mom’s opportunity and responsibility to be the primary faith former in their children’s lives
• It is the church’s responsibility to come alongside Dad and Mom to support them in producing faith-filled children
• Should NOT be considered a substitute for the parents primary role as faith-formers with their children
Should be seen as a resource and a support to the parent(s)
• Should be led by parents who are actively involved and unified around our mission
• Should be integrated with the rest of the church and must not be seen as separate and disconnected
